This blog was supposed to help me befriend the chimp, although I am yet to actually blog....I decided to post a little note about Election night. Is anyone watching Channel 4's Alternative Election night with Jimmy Carr?? it is hilarious. Best quote so far:' This is not America, we're not going to take the first result and put a moron in the White house'. Hilarious....
Anyway, I baked a gorgeous Chocolate cake, that was very simple to make yet tasty! Will post photos later, and then maybe, I will let you know about my friend, the chimp.

ReplyDeleteI was not able to reply to your comment directly as you are a 'no-reply' blogger, so I hope this reaches you to answer your questions! The blue yarn is a cheap one by Hayfield Bonus DK called Teal shade 0890. It was more like a petrol blue and I loved it. However, it is a discontinued shade. You may be able to purchase online still in stores and through ebay, but I did run out and it was difficult to get hold of. It was the only brand that I could find in that particular shade of blue. I joined the squares together using simple double crochet (uk terms). I did it on the right side facing so that that it was visible and there was a raised join. People often join on the wrong side so that the join looks invisble from the right side if you use this method of putting the squares together. I hope this helps a little! Many thanks Vanessa : )
